So, while some opted to spend their day on grass, surrounded by trees, I choose to spend my day in Mayfair and Soho, gallery hopping, luxury shopping and then ending up at a mini music festival on Berwick Street Soho where the celebration of Record Store Day was in full swing hosting live music performances on a stage in the street. All in all, it was a fabulous day!
Heavy wool suits are now being traded in for lighter cotton and silk ones such as these gorgeous suits by the luxury Italian menswear brand Canali. It’s so refreshing to see something other than the regular bland black suits parading the streets. And yes, I do realize that the suits are in fact grey but something like fuchsia would simply burn my eyes as I much prefer classic, cool colors especially on a hot summery day. Then, it also doesn’t hurt to imagine the perfect tall, dark handsome man of your dreams to fill the suit. Ahhh… one can dream right!
It might not be spring or summer quite just yet but the menswear of Bond Street is definitely turning up the heat, muy caliente!
Call me crazy, but I absolutely adore checking out the beautifully styled luxury windows of Bond Street and imagining the handsome men that might fill the equally handsome suits featured. It seems I have a certain predisposition towards the deliciously sharp suits and fashions of Italian brands Canali and Corneliani, which are just so undeniably sexy and stylish!
However difficult it may be, try to remain composed by keeping your tongues from wagging in your mouths as the staff really don’t appreciate you salivating on their goods or windows :( Bummer, I know!
To go beautifully together with the handsome Canali man, why not seal the deal by walking down the aisle in a white Pronovias dress from their 2013 collection. The white petal inspired dress is a bit too daring for me but their more traditional dresses are divine.
A man is never a requirement when getting dressed up in a lovely gown but in all honesty, who’d really mind ;) So, forget about sporting traditional reds and greens for this years Christmas party and instead opt for a dazzling ♪ White Christmas ♪ !
All I want for Christmas is a Canali dressed man like the ones seen here in the windows of their Bond Street boutique. Um, yes please! Now, ♪ where is my man ♪ ? Purrrrrrrrr…
Forget about Breakfast at Tiffany’s and why not enjoy Christmas at Tiffany’s instead! Today I stopped by Bond Street to do a bit of Christmas shopping before I head back home to Tokyo and couldn’t help but admire the luxurious mix of a rococo Christmas theme as seen in their display windows.
It was beautifully classic and traditional without going completely overboard by trooping the colors red and green. Now, Tiffany wouldn’t necessarily be my first or favorite choice of jewelers but these windows almost had me reconsidering. Who can really resist the allure of crystal chandeliers, rococo furnishings and diamond jewels?
